Veterans Day

I was looking around on the web for pictures for Veterans Day. As I did so, I stumbled upon photos of the National D-Day Memorial. To be honest I didn't even know we had a D-Day Memorial. I am a little embarrassed that I didn't know that. It is located in Bedford, Virginia. A while back I was in Washington D.C. and I checked out a lot of the memorials there, and I thought the best memorial was the one for the Korean War. I was also amazed at how big the Marine Corps War Memorial / Iwo Jima Memorial was. But in looking at the photos of the D-Day Memorial, this is one that I would really like to check out.
