Weekend Update

I wasn't in a very photogenic mood this weekend and I actually didn't take too many pictures. Friday night after work I took Lindsey and Abbigail shopping for their birthdays. We went to Toys'R'us. To my brothers, sister, sister-in-laws and brother-in-law I have to come up with a better idea for the kids on their birthdays because all they buy now is a bunch of crap that you guys will end up throwing away in less than a year. I will just take them to the movies, park, ice skating, roller rink, etc. Maybe I will make them decide where they want to go. Anything would be better than basically throwing my money away. Anyhow here are Lindsey and Abbigail outside of Toys'R'us.I took them to McDonalds for ice cream after Toys'R'us. But I kept my New Years Resolution and I didn't even have any ice cream either. The rest of Friday night I spent at my brother, Dan's place, helping him move furniture for the second time.Saturday I went to the Whitewater Playoff game to watch M.K.A. (Mike Kicking Ass). Prior to the game my uncle Dave hit the beer bong one time.I got to the game around 10:30 in the morning and the game didn't start until noon. It snowed the entire time I was in Whitewater. As you can see here, between quarters they had skid steers with brushes on them to clear the sidelines and the goal lines. I would guess that we got around 4 or 5 inches of snow while I was in Whitewater. Here is Mike Kicking Ass. Whitewater ended up winning 47-7. It was 28-0 at the end of the first quarter. I thought these games were suppose to get more difficult as the playoffs wore on. I again did push ups after each score. I told Mike last week to take it easy on the scoring. 47 wasn't too bad. That was only 193 for the day. And that did help to keep me warm. As I normally do at these football games, I wore my gorilla suit. #1 because it is actually pretty warm. #2 because at times I can be a bit of an attention whore. I know it is a bit of a shocker, but also true. Anyhow after the game I was sitting around the fire pit that we brought to the game keeping warm. This older guy who appeared to be a Whitewater fan came up to our tailgate party to catch a little bit of the warmth coming off of our fire pit. He was wearing one of those plastic garbage bag looking things over his winter coat. He looked at me and said "How is it going?" then with a bit of an attitude asked me "Are you wearing a gorilla suit? Why are you wearing a gorilla suit?" I quickly replied, "I am fine, but why are you wearing a garbage bag?" As the rest of our tailgate party laughed at him, he just meekly walked away.
After the game I headed back to my brother, Dan's place for his daughter's birthday party. Here is the family sitting on the new sectional couch that I have moved twice already.
